How to find refuge

an incarnational church

7/28/19 - Matt Kimmell - Colossians 3:15-16

We close out our series on Fortress this week. We have been looking at what practices actually make God our refuge. Many people encourage those in crisis or stress to run to God, but what does that look like? What steps can we take to find refuge in God? This week we are looking at the idea of an incarnational church. Jesus was the incarnation of God, who gave us His words and Spirit, but what for? Join us as we explore these thought this week.

A Simple Obedience

07/21/19 - Matt Kimmell -Psalm 119:105-114

We are continuing to explore what it actually looks like to find refuge in God. What are the practices that help us come into God’s presence and lead us to His Fortress. This week we spend quite a while looking through the some of the life of David and see what His response to life’s questions are.

7/14/19 - Matt Kimmell - Psalm 59

We are starting a new series asking the question of “How do we find refuge?“. In our society people are weary and worn out. Everything is advertised to make our lives easier and yet everyday seems more complex. Christians often offer a nice sentiment like “Go to God” but what does that actually look like? Is there something we can do to actually find refuge from the storms?
