Christmas potluck & singing outreach event
Event overview: Next Saturday, Dec. 19th, at Avery Park “Lion’s Shelter”, 1-4pm with food, games, & singing. KingsCircle church will cover the cost of the dinner: lasagna, salads, garlic bread, fruit, relish tray. SouthSide will provide and distribute hot drinks (coffee, hot chocolate).
12:30pm- Volunteers arrive for set up, prayer, and visiting campsites to invite people
1:00pm- Food is served until 3 pm
3:00 to 4:00pm- Games and carol singing with candles for everyone to hold

Ways you can help:
- Drop off 2 or 3 dozen cookies and/or winter clothing (socks, gloves, hats, blankets) at the Lion's Shelter on Dec. 19th at 12:30pm
- Volunteer to serve food, play games, sing carols at the event. Come to the Lion's Shelter on Dec. 19th at 12:30pm and stay until 4pm or whenever you are able
- Transport drink supplies to and from event as well as man the drink station
- Supplies include a generator (Matt Kimmell’s), extension cord, 2 hot drink containers, coffee, filters, disposable cups, hot chocolate mix, Igloo water container (filled with water for refilling hot drink containers)
- Manning the drink station entails monitoring beverage levels and refilling containers when needed, distributing beverages and engaging with event participants
