Today we begin a new series on the Bible and we start with a series on Genesis. Before we start to tackle the text and the meaning of Genesis we need to answer some questions about how we interpret the Bible and how we find its meaning. What is the role of the human author? What do we need to know about their original culture and the culture of the original audience in order to understand the heart behind it? Join us as we embark on this new series to know the sciptures more as we seek to follow and trust in God as disciples or potential disciples of Jesus.
