Sunday Gathering
10:00 - 11:45a
(in person)
In-person with past services recorded on YouTube here. Our in-person gatherings meet in the sanctuary, overflow room, and upstairs in the library to allow for social distancing if desired. We offer childcare during the service. There is a nursery for ages 1-4 and a children's Sunday school for kids ages 5-10. The overflow room and library have streaming audio & video feed of the live service occurring in the sanctuary. In-person meetings are subject to change due to on-going COVID-19 considerations.
Singing and MusicThe way we connect with Jesus in song is a special and biblical thing. We spend time directing our hearts to God in singing songs of adoration, confession and praise.
|
Teaching from the BibleWe work hard to understand the authorial intent of each passage, taking into account the literary and cultural contexts. We echo Peter's words, "where else would we go, You (Jesus) have the words of eternal life."
|
The Cup and The BreadThe cup and the bread are a sacred remembrance of the good gift Jesus gave to rescue us. We regularly partake with reverence and humble gratitude.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT HOUSE CHURCH
6:30 - 8:00P
(in person in our sanctuary)
To pray means to stop expecting from God the same small-mindedness, which you discover in yourself. To pray is to walk in the full light of God and to simply, without holding back, “I am human and you are God.” - H. Nouwen
FellowshipWe spend time connecting with one another and hearing how God is moving in each of our lives.
|
learning from the BibleWe explore and discover what the Bible shares with us through a brief story or event in Scripture.
|
Application and sharingWe are not only hearers of the Word but also doers. We spend time reflecting on what our next step of obedience is and who among us needs to hear what we just received from Scripture.

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS
(Meeting time varies)
The message and person of Jesus Christ was always meant to change us at the deepest places in our lives. Indeed, the change has to go all the way to our very DNA. The work of Jesus paved the way for God’s spirit to give us new life, indeed a second birth. Those who have covenanted with Jesus are now God’s children, reborn into his new Kingdom family. We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ changes everything.
All of these ideas revolve around the goal of belief in the Gospel presented in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, baptism and learning to obey the commands of Jesus. The goal is to be conformed to the likeness of the true image of God we were meant to be. Jesus Christ was the only one who has lived this way, and this makes sense – He is God’s Son. Our goal now is to be like him. This does not mean removal of uniqueness as humans, but rather about conformity to the original design of moral and social order and beauty God desired for humanity.

DiscipleshipWe consider this to be the learning aspect of growth in the character of Jesus – learning mentally and viscerally what God is like and how to know and relate to Him and others.

|
accountabilityThrough community and relationship with a small group of other followers we clarify the truth and challenge and call each other to account for our thoughts, desires, and actions -encouraging the good and helping each other to discipline the failures.
